Glenn Beck is Heath Ledger's Joker. I'm serious: same intonation, same delivery. It's terrifying because the guy actually exists in real life, and has millions of followers.  

When MTV News caught up with Adrien Brody at SXSW, Academy Award winning actor confirmed earlier rumors that he was in consideration for the part of the Joker. Brody not only met with The Dark Knight's director, but was excited for a chance to play the part. "I met Chris on that," he said regarding the role that eventually went to Heath Ledger.  

As the friends and relatives of the actor Corey Haim gather today at his funeral in Toronto, one can only imagine the anguish that comes with losing someone close at the relatively tender age of 38. The former child star was declared dead at 2.15am last Wednesday at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Centre in Burbank, California, having collapsed at the nearby home of his mother Cheryl. A full explanation will not be available until the results of a toxicology report are disclosed in six to eight weeks,  

Time for a poll people. America's favorite comic book villain, the Joker, has captivated audiences for decades, spanning generations. Going back to the 40's when DC comics first introduced the Joker as the archenemy to the famed Batman, to the tv version of the 60's, and most recently the late Heath ledger's Academy award winning portrayal of the master criminal-comics to movies, the Joker is one of the most iconic & recognized villains in popular media.  

Director Terry Gilliam is known for creating astonishing and fantastical worlds. His rich imagination is shown again in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, produced in December 2007. The tragic death of film star Heath Ledger during the filming of this movie forced Gilliam and co-writer Charles McKeown to make a few changes to the script, adding three saviors — well-known stars Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law. The movie is set in present-day London.  

Much has been said about the third "Batman" film, starting from speculation on who will be the villain now that Heath Ledger's Joker could not return to rumors of whether the film will even be made. Facts were scarce until now, when director Chris Nolan is finally speaking about the much-hyped production – and drops the bomb that the third film will also be the last, as the Guardian can confirm. Heath Ledger's last film is seeing the light of day, at last. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the DVD and Blu-ray debut of Terry Gilliam's latest head-scratching sci-fi wonder, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus on April 27, 2010. The film contains the final scenes of Heath Ledger's acting career, and was essentially scrapped until the likes of Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell stepped in to complete the role of the Ledger's character, with the help of Gilliam changing the plot ar  

"The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" is as unusual and idiosyncratic as its title. You'd expect no less from Terry Gilliam, and admirers of this singular filmmaker will be pleased to know that "Imaginarium" is one of his most original and accessible works. Though "Imaginarium's" head-spinning plot resists easy summation, the film, co-written by Charles McKeown, has a backstory no one is likely to forget.
